Volunteering at Sawai Man Singh Hospital for their campaign to promote plasma donation I learned a lot about covid-19 stigma. But it was when I myself contracted the virus, did I know what the real struggle was. I remember feeling scared, not of the disease but of getting exposed. I took to my writing for comfort and documented every day in quarantine. The fear ultimately gave me the courage to publish my diary as a book, forever becoming a weapon against covid -19 stigma.
“What it’s like to be isolated from civilization while battling a disease that caused a Pandemic? Her book will take you on the journey of battling stigma, separation, confusion, and fear and finally overcoming all with newfound teachings: learning to appreciate the little things, and the importance of being with your family; while making you feel like you're enclosed inside 4 walls. “
Quarantine diaries was featured in the Jaipur Literature Festival and JLF Colorado and I was a speaker under the writer’s shorts.
