RE/WRAP

Plastic waste has been an issue close to my heart for the longest time. I had been undertaking different projects to reduce plastic waste including an eco-brick drive, a petition to ban single-use plastic, independence from plastic awareness agenda, and a fundraiser to aid restaurants in switching from plastic packaging to eco-friendly alternatives. But I knew it was time for a permanent and large-scale solution, this led me to start RE/WRAP- a plastic recycling brand. I started designing products that would recycle several hundred wrappers at once. I started a waste collection channel that involved households and shops and established several drop centers within the city to aid donations. Through these efforts I established RE/WRAP www.rewrap.co.in .
